About this house sitting position in Jannali

We are a family of 4 (two adults and 2 kids) living in a three bedroom home. We have 2 dogs (Charlie a Labrador, and Bindi a Kelpie) as well as 4 chickens and some fish in a outdoor pond. Our dogs are a big part of our family and are house dogs (but sleep in an enclosed deck of a night). They love people and will love being with you (cuddles a must).

The dogs have beds inside for during the day and evening and then beds on the deck for the night. When you are ready to go to bed they will happily go out on the deck (sometimes Charlie put herself to bed). They are not allowed on the couch.

They are feed twice a day. First thing in the morning and then whenever is suitable in the afternoon/evening. Charlie will reminder you at 2pm that it is the afternoon (she will follow you around until you feed them). But if you are out, do not stress they can eat later.

Charlie loves everyone and all dogs, however Bindi has a bit of anxiety and can get a bit scared. If you have anyone over, please be mindful that she doesn't like to be smothered in attention and can be nervous around children - she would not attack but would snap to tell someone to go away.

They only need a few walks a week - there is a lovely bush walk - they know the way.

The chickens are very new. They have a coop and can roam around the backyard during the day. They only need their food and water filled up when needed. They are not bothered by the dogs and are very friendly. They put themselves to bed and you just need to lock the coop of a night. Read more...
