About this house sitting position in Kanmantoo

We are looking for a house/farm sitter to look after our 83 acres while we are away. The property is situatued on the outskirts of Kanmantoo with 200 metres of the bremer river running through the property (doesn't always flow but great for exploring) We have 2 small dogs who love a cuddle and sleep on the bed, a crazy kelpie "Buddy" who thinks he is still a puppy (crazy but a sook when there is strange noises or a storm), Buddy loves a run and an adventure but isn't fully trained around the sheep so best to keep him on his rope while checking animals. We have 4 cows (2 miniature and 2 belted galloways), Chickens/Guinea Fowl, and 30-50 sheep of all ages and 2 alpacas.

Our home is only 12 months old and is situated back from the road with no neighbours, its on the main road but you would never know as it peaceful and surrounded by farm land. Everyone that visits never want to leave.

Plenty of room to park a caravan, motorhome or trailer.

Ideally we would love someone with farm experience and who loves to potter and is handy to fix the odd broken gate or leaking trough if the need arises. No two days are the same, some are peaceful others are full of adventure.

Kanmantoo situated 20 mins from the townships of Mt Barker and Murray Bridge in South Australia in the small quiet town of kanmantoo - the home of kanmantoo bacon, neutrog, Copper mine and Bluestone Quarry. We are just a short drive from many tourist attractions including Monarto Zoo, Hahndorf, Murray River, Glenelg, victor harbor, the big rocking horse and cleland wildlife park and the Barossa Valley Wine Region. A great place to see adelaide and surrounds.
