About this house sitting position in Kawarren

We are looking for someone to enjoy our home and take care of our pets while we travel. Our home is a comfortable 4 bedroom brick veneer family home nestled amongst the trees on a 30 acres hobby farm bordered by Loves Creek and forest. Our pets are pretty low maintenance - the Kelpies, Bo and Jarrah, and Greyhound Amira need a 20 minute morning and afternoon walk off lead around the farm or on lead along the rail trail; they and our cat, Jess, just eat dry food every evening and the occasional bone; and our three horses Baz, Cookie and Remy need some bedtime lucerne.
Our dogs and cat lounge around inside near the fire in winter, during the day, and sleep inside at night. Occasionally Amira wakes to be let out for a wee in the night.
Gellibrand township, with its fab general store & cafe and classic country pub, is 3km down the road. Colac, a 20 minutes drive away, has all the basic amenities: supermarkets, shops, hospital and cinema.
The place is perfectly located for Otways adventures: A 40 km rail trail for walking and riding is across the road; Forrest's mountain bike trails and Beech Forest's rainforests and waterfalls are a 20 minute drive away; the wild Johanna beach - which is brilliant for fishing (but not swimming) - is 40 minutes away; and you can drive to either Apollo Bay or Lorne in an hour.
