About this house sitting position in KELSO

We are looking for a house/cat sitter for 2 months while we head overseas for a winter Christmas. It works for us because this way our home is not left vacant for an extended period of time, and our much-loved cat, Atticus, will have company in his own home and not be stressed out in a cattery.

We like having house sitters, as we feel it's a win-win for both us and the sitters.

We have a comfortable 3 bedroom home, with a large living area, study, bathroom and ensuite. The living area is very open, and on the northern side of the house, so gets beautiful light, along with views across farmland, where kangaroos often graze.

Out the back of the house is an outside entertainment area, with BBQ, day bed and water feature.

Our back yard has a lawn area and is also quite productive. The apricots and strawberries will probably be ready to eat during your stay. A variety of birds are regular visitors to the back yard - we consider the wrens, willy wagtails, and magpies family, and the silver eyes, thornbills and finches good friends.

Our home is in a quiet area, as the street we live on is not a through road. There is a small shopping centre approximately 2km away, with the main shopping area in Bathurst about 5km away. Read more...
