About Maggie:

Maggie was rehomed with us in late 2025. She's a 6-year old puppy who is after companionship during the Christmas period.
Maggie loves people and other animals. Maggie likes to 'melt' at your feet for belly rubs, loves to play with her array of toys (with some human encouragement) and typically wants to be beside her humans.
Maggie walks well, but is still learning recall commands. We don't know Maggie's past, but suspect there may have been something that happened, or she was never trained appropriately, with other dogs and as a result she can act domineering towards other dogs. We do not have her off lead due to this and her lack of recall. This also unfortunately means we cannot accept a sitter to bring another pet with them. She is extremely gentle with people and children.
Maggie prefers being indoors, unless you are outside - she will be right beside you!
Maggie has two beds. One that stays outside and a second bed - which is typically in the middle of the lounge room. This second bed also roams, e.g. in the study when the humans WFH, in the master bedroom at night.
Maggie has no medications, but on sunny days should have some sunscreen applied to her belly. Maggie has one dental chew in the morning.
There are treats available if needed for training or other instances.
Maggie can seem to get restless if she hasn't had a walk, the next door neighbors also like to bark to let her know anytime a dog is walking past & Maggie will often join in if she hasn't let out that energy on a walk. Our schedules allow us to walk her twice per day, but one walk per day will be fine.
Meggie is fed once per day, in the evenings at the same time the humans eat. After she has eaten, Maggie requires encouragement to be on one of her beds while humans are eating to encourage good behavior around people and food.
We do not allow Maggie on the couch or bed while we have food.

About our home:

Our street is calm and quiet, most neighbours are retired, with the exception of next door.
There are some beautiful walks along Kororoit Creek.
Our home is situated between St Albans and Keilor Plains train stations. There is a 418 bus on one end of our street to get to Keilor Plains train station, and 420 bus at the other end of our street to get to St Albans train station.
We have a three bedroom home.
Master bedroom features a king bed, tv, ensuite with toilet, shower & basin.
Second & third rooms are used as offices. Screen, docking station, keyboard, mouse, standing desk & webcam available for use. These rooms do not have beds available.
Loungeroom has tv with multiple streaming services.
Newly renovated kitchen with ample appliances.
Second bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin.
Washing machine and ironing in laundry.
Large deck with veranda in backyard with 3-seater couch, high-top table and chairs, 9-burner hood bbq, outdoor tv and clothes dryer.
Large yard for Maggie to run & play. Hills hoist clothes line. Carport at the end of a long driveway.
