Kuranda, Queensland

About this house sitting position in Kuranda

Our home is hidden away in far north Queensland’s iconic wet tropical rainforest. It’s private, surrounded by nature, on a quiet street and only minutes away from the local village. We are looking for someone for general house upkeep, and to care for our labradoodle, daschund and 2 ducks during our short time away.
Only 15 minutes to Smithfield shopping centre and 25-30 minutes to Cairns CBD. Please contact us if you’re interested and would love the company of a very affectionate pupper.

Ollie is our 9 year old dachshund who is very affectionate and loves cuddles. He is very much a homebody, and requires minimal exercise. He overcame a spinal injury 3 years ago, however remains his spritely self. He walks well around the home and exploring the garden, which is the extent of his needed exercise and walking. As a result of his spinal injury, he needs assistance with stairs and toiletting. I can provide further details prior to confirming the house sit if interested.

There is no garden maintenance expected during this stay. Mainly looking for someone to spend time with Ollie while we are away.
