About this house sitting position in Lalla

Located 27 minutes from The city of Launceston and 5 minutes from the village of Lilydale in the Pipers River wine region NE Tasmania. 25 acres with 5 acres of vineyard and wildlife protected areas.
There is a new architectural farmhouse attached to the renovated original cottage.
Beautiful countryside lots of walking trails and 35 minutes to the beach on the bass straight.
Two dogs Buddy and Cooper who are friendly and easy to look after. Garden around the house, including a vegetable garden.
Plenty of room to park a motor home if required.
Please note, dates are during a Tasmanian winter. House has double glazed windows & wood heaters. June/July can bring crisp, sunny days or stormy wet weather. You are likely to experience both.
Our housesitters sleep in self-contained cottage (contains bathroom, living room, television, wood heater, electric heater in bedroom) and also using the kitchen/television in the main house.
A little isolating for a single traveller, would need own vehicle.
Would appreciate a bit of gardening but not essential.
Lots of interesting day trips accessible our location.
Do need to be comfortable using a wood heater, we will leave an amble supply of wood.
We operate as Lalla Colline vineyard and run a cellar door, however the cellar door will be closed over the winter period and the vines are dormant. Read more...
