!URGENT! Fancy Christmas & New Year in a tropical paradise??

Beautiful 100yr old Queenslander with verandas overlooking the pool, garden & 4 acres of paddock with a large, natural dam. We have abundant wildlife including a large mob of kangaroos that regularly visit & an abundance of birds. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will find it here. It really is very peaceful, yet we are only 2kms away from Landsborough township.

We have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 5 geese, & too many chickens to keep count.

Our big dog is a beautiful boy. A total sook & a little needy of attention. He has a bad heart condition & requires meds morning & evening. He thinks they’re treats (easily fooled), so it’s no bother to given them to him. Due to his health, we would like to know that you would be on hand during most/some of the day and would feel confident should his health go awry whilst we are away. I mean, it really could go awry. He really is an adorable dog & just needs company & a lot of love. He sleeps most of the day & does not require walking. He’s an absolute boof head & would sit on your lap if he could. He’s part Irish Wolfhound so you don’t want to encourage that!?

Our other dog (actually, our daughter’s) is the absolute opposite of the Wolfhound giant. He’s a mini dachshund & is such a busy, little character. The 2 dogs together are an hysterical double act.

The 2 Fluffies (cats) are pretty low key & very easy. They’re not much into cuddles but do love a good stroke, brush & play. You might be deemed good enough to be sat on.

The geese & chickens need to be put away each night.

We are based in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland with the Glasshouse Mountains dominating the surrounding landscape. They are wonderful to climb, for the intrepid. We are surrounded by beautiful places to walk. We are 20 minutes from the beach, 5 minutes from Australia Zoo & 1 hour from Brisbane. The beautiful Hinterland town of Maleny is just up the hill, A great place for breakfasts. Landsborough is a small community, with all amenities, trains and buses. And a pub.

We would like to meet you as there is much to show you with regards to feeding & looking after the animals. And we would also like to see how you interact with all the animals. We also require police checks & references.
