About this house sitting position in Lesmurdie

I am reposting this, as when I first posted it in July, my daughter fell ill with a nasty cold & flu. Then there were school holidays, so my post got unpublished due to inactivity.

We are going away in December for almost 6 weeks, and our usual house sitters are also going away at the same time. We are now looking for a dog lover (we have a Labrador and a half Jack Russel/Chihuahua) who can house-sit and keep our dogs company while we are away. We also have 5 chickens living at the back of the block (live in a designated fenced area).

We live in Lesmurdie with a 1600 sqm block, so the dogs are happy to run around the block and do not require to be walked. Although we do walk them every now and then. If you are a dog lover, you will love these fur kids of ours, and Lesmurdie is a very nice area. The chickens don’t bother you much at all, just feeding in the morning and collecting yummy free-range eggs 🙂.

We want to lock this in as soon as possible, and would like to book in the initial meeting next week between Wednesday, 22nd October and Monday, 27th October 2025. Our preference would be a retiree person/ couple, as they would likely spend a lot of time at home. However, this is not set in stone.
