🏡 House & Cat Sitter Wanted – Beautiful Mountain A-Frame
Looking for a reliable, respectful house and cat sitter for approximately 3 weeks in a gorgeous one-bedroom A-frame home tucked away in the mountains, around 15 minutes from Nerang and 35 minutes from Broadbeach
🌿 The house
A beautiful, cosy A-frame with stunning mountain surroundings and, from the right spot at the top of the property, views towards the Gold Coast and Surfers Paradise. It’s a peaceful little escape while still being close enough to the coast when you want to head into town.
🐱 Meet the resident – a very vocal Bengal!
The main job is simply looking after my Bengal Sophie, giving her plenty of attention and pats.
Important: she is LOUD! 😂
She is a Bengal, and she absolutely likes the sound of her own voice.
She talks, calls, chirps and generally makes sure you know she is there. If you’re used to quiet cats, she may come as a bit of a shock!
She is affectionate and loves attention, but you need to genuinely be comfortable living with a very vocal cat. If constant cat conversation isn't your thing, this probably isn't the house sit for you.
Sophie may not yell at you at all, its very much a see how she goes. I expect that she will be fine, however its better to be prepared.

Feed and care for the cat
Give her plenty of pats and attention
Keep an eye on the house
Basic everyday tidying
No major maintenance or gardening required
📍 Location
Small local shop approximately 1 km away, with takeaway food, a distillery and Cafe.
No public transport, so you will need your own car
This would suit someone who enjoys peace, nature, a beautiful home and a very chatty cat, but still wants easy access to the Gold Coast.
Bengal warning: Someone who thinks “oh, how loud could a cat possibly be?” sorry, however I don't want you discovering at 2 a.m. that you've moved into a feline call centre. 😄 as this is an open loft style home, closing a bedroom door is not an option. Read more...
