About this house sitting position in Malanda
100-year old Queenslander home with plenty of character. Freshly painted and clean.
Rain and bore water.
Quiet location on the Johnstone river,20 minute walk to town. A flock of friendly chickens and several guinea pigs will need twice daily attention. A small number of pot plants need to be watered a couple of times a week. If it's really dry weather, house gardens and veggie patch need watering too. Most likely there will be enough rain as this period olis during the wet season. The wet season in Malanda can be quite wet.
A beautiful place to relax enjoy exploring the Atherton Tablelands region.

Reviews for Catherine
“Everything in Catherine's house made it feels like a home. Wonderful art work, some her own or her daughter Eulalia's, fantastic music and book collection, shady verandah backing onto rainforest, musical instruments, rain water on tap and little things that showed her caring nature. The animals were such good company and gave my time there real meaning.
Everything was clearly written down about how things worked, what the animals needed and contact details for neighbours. We communicated when necessary, sometimes just to say how much we were enjoying our time.
The area was very peaceful, with large blocks of land on a short street (no through traffic). The newly painted house was a picture as you drove in. The supermarket, cafe's, gift shops and service station were easy to walk to.
I would thoroughly recommend housesitting at Catherine and Eulalia's home. ” - Read more
