About this house sitting position in Mansfield

We are moving in February to live in a modern single story home on 3/4 of an acre just on the edge of Mansfield Victoria. The house is a 5 minute drive from the town centre but could also be bike ride or walking distance away.

In late April 2026 (date flexible) we are planning to take our caravan away for a couple of months or so (also flexible) and need someone to care for our dog (the main task) house and garden.

Our dog’s name is Charlie. She is a chocolate brown 11 year old miniature Labradoodle. She is very attached to us and spends most of her time with us when we are home so would love to do the same with anyone who is living in our house. She loves a walk and otherwise spends a lot of time sleeping.

The house is modern and bright inside with lots of double glazed windows and a fire place as well as heating for cozy days.

Given the location at the foothills of the Victorian High Country, we envisage that the garden will only require minimal care at the time of year proposed.

Our ideal person/people will be non smokers who love dogs and are happy to spend lots of time with Charlie.

Mansfield is a lovely town with close proximity to Mt Buller, Lake Eildon and the wine region of the King Valley. As such there are a wide range of outdoor pursuits at it’s doorstep such as skiiing, boating, fishing and hiking. Read more...
