About this house sitting position in Maragle

Looking for person/persons to care for our Kelpie Pippy, cat Maple and 4 chooks. Both Pippy and Maple are outside animals and only require feeding once a day otherwise they take care of themselves and have free range of the farm. The chooks have a large area and their feeders just need refilling every few days but you are also welcome to their eggs.
Our home is on 500 acres in the western foothills of the snowy mountains 20km from beautiful Tumbarumba. There is plenty to see and do in the area and it is a very pretty place. We have a 1 bedroom cottage available or plenty of space to park a caravan or motorhome. If you have your own pet that is perfectly okay. We have a large garden which won't require you to do any care. We do have a small veggie garden watered by a sprinkler and you are welcome to the produce. We will only be 4hrs away at the cost fishing so may come home for a day or so to more lawns etc a couple of times during the sit.
The area is perfect for exploring and as the animals are very low maintenance you are free to trip around while you are here and just kick back and relax. We are fairly chilled and would love sitters that are the same. Read more...

“Hello Julie. Thanks for your kind words. It was great to be there. Had Pippy, Maple & Molly as well as the chooks, goose and a million cockies to keep an eye on me and make sure nothing went wrong. Having helpful neighbours only a phone call away was also a blessing. Everyone & everything I needed to know was on paper, plus a tour of the farm & its requirements was also very helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and am looking forward to next year's stay as well. Thanks again to both you & Ken for allowing me stay at such a great farm and call it home for a few months. Cheers 🤠”

“Had a wonderful time looking afer black and tan 9 year old kelpie Pippy, who helped with all chores. She and I bonded well, as she did with my two old kelpies and spent each day showing us the ropes - especially with the chooks :) . Julie and Ken are fantastic home owners and I felt really privileged that they trusted me with their home, animals and garden at such short notice. Maple the cat totally gorgeous too and came for cuddles eventually. Happy to go back anytime.”
