Our home is a warm and cosy Australian colonial 4 bedroom home on 5 acres, with a detached
tenant-ship.
Your accommodation would be a bedroom with queen sized bed and main bathroom with separate toilet.
Our home is on tank water and an automatic envirocycle septic system. No maintenance is required for either and there is ample water supply in the 50,000 litre tank.
There is a coded solar gate on our driveway, which is set well back from the road to allow for car and caravan safe access.
We have 30 chooks, in a large fenced run, that get fed in the morning and eggs collected in the late afternoon. They do like to be let out for a scratch in the afternoon but take themselves back to roost by dusk when we lock them in again.. safe from foxes. Feel free to use the eggs you collect .. the run will be cleaned before we leave , so no work to be done other than the feeding, afternoon letting out and locking up at dusk, and the egg collection and packing into a fridge.
We have a very friendly Great Dane female dog called Rosie that is fed twice a day .. and, sometimes, we feed the tenant’s dog, Cossie, a Kelpie/cattle dog cross, if our tenant is away with work.
The dogs sleep in their kennels outside in an enclosure but are free to roam in the house yard or locked in if needed, so no need to be walked … just patted, fed and watered.
The parrot is called Rainbowcake, and lives in a large cage in our family room. He gets seed and fresh water each morning and won’t need cleaning out until we get home. But he throws seed out so does need a floor sweep daily.
The house yard, which is large and fully fenced, is surrounded by fenced paddocks which are sometimes used by the neighbour for horses, sheep and goats, with no responsibility on our part.
No mowing or gardening is required.
If the traffic is good it’s a 10 min drive to both Rouse Hill shopping centre and theatres, Windsor shops, and hospital. The Oaks Golf Club and restaurant is 6.5kms and the Lynwood golf club and restaurant is 5kms . There are multiple gyms, sporting clubs, cafes and restaurants within a short drive… Windsor Pool and Oasis is 11kms.
There is undercover car space next to our home, as well as undercover caravan storage space in the back paddock.
