About this house sitting position in Marlow Lagoon

Hi all, I am seeking a "caretaker" or a house sitter for a couple of weeks across the Christmas break.
As caretaker, this would suit someone who has their own caravan and needs to park up and is happy to do some animal and garden care in exchange for utilities. I have acreage in Marlow Lagoon and accessible power and water for a van. You can also enjoy the fresh chook eggs which are quite abundant at this time!
If there are no caretakers available, I will consider a house-sitter but only one who can cope with cats on the bed at night!
I need someone to ensure that my cats and chooks are fed and watered, and that litter trays are cleaned daily and nesting boxes are regularly checked and freshened if needed. There will also be some hand watering required for pot plants (only the ones under cover) but the main yard is reticulated and it is still raining as well.
If you are not a cat lover, please don't apply. My cats are super-affectionate, and they like people so they will seek pats and attention or play time from you. I also cannot accept people travelling with dogs; even if your dog is great with cats and chooks, my cats don't like dogs!
An important note for potential house sitters is that this home will not suit families. The home is small (56m2) and there is 1 brm and no dining area; very easy to clean but also very crowded with more than 2 people. Read more...
