We’re looking for a reliable and caring house sitter to look after our home and our much-loved 8-year-old Jack Russell while we’re away.

Our home is located just outside Maryborough and only 15 minutes from Hervey Bay, offering the perfect mix of peaceful country living with easy access to beaches, cafes, shopping and local attractions.

Your Main Responsibilities

🐾 Caring for our 8-year-old Jack Russell, Charlie
🚶 Daily walks are essential
❤️ Plenty of cuddles, company and attention
🏡 General care of the home and keeping an eye on the property

Charlie is a friendly little companion who loves being around people. He’s happiest when he’s getting lots of affection, regular walks and someone to keep him company.

This would suit someone who enjoys a quiet country lifestyle, loves dogs, and would appreciate a comfortable home base while exploring the beautiful Fraser Coast region.

A note about Charlie: He’s an indoor dog who loves human company. He must remain on a lead during walks and isn’t particularly fond of other dogs, so we’d ask that his walks are kept calm and controlled.
