About this house sitting position in Mentone

The house is located between Cheltenham and Mentone station. You can walk to both stations (around 10 to 15 minutes) but there are also buses going to the stations, St Kilda, Sandringham etc. You can walk to the beach (15 to 20 minutes) or to Southland (15 minutes). There are cafes close by. Mentone and Cheltenham have some nice restaurants and Mordialloc and Parkdale are around the corner (bars, breweries).

The house is on a very calm street (cul-de-sac). It is a two-storey house, with a double car park, spacious front and backyard (with chill out area and hammock) and a big balcony facing north (cat-proofed). The house is very light and has 2 bedrooms (with double beds each, one has an ensuite bathroom), two baby/toddler rooms, one spacious living room with a dining area, a rustic kitchen with an additional small dining area (equipped with everything, has a big fridge and freezer), 3 bathrooms (one with bathtub, 3 showers) and 2 extra toilets and an extra big room that is used as a creative art space or home office. You will be living with our two beautiful female in-house cats, Billie and Pepper (apparently sisters, both 8 years old). They might be a bit shy in the beginning, but once they know and trust you, they love cuddles and sleep in your bed (only if you want to). The house itself is from the 70s and has maintained its original charm. You have wifi here. The rooms are equipped with heaters, a dual system and a fake fireplace in the living room to keep the house warm and cosy.

What is required:
We are looking for a reliable, responsible and clean person or a couple/small family that loves and has experience with cats. You would be looking after our 2 cats (feeding, cuddling and cleaning the cats' toilets), watering our indoor and outdoor plants and keeping the house nice and tidy.
