About this house sitting position in Metung

We are seeking a sitter who will care for our nearly 10 year old Retriever X. Oddie is a gentle sole who needs someone to be with him.

He requires walking twice a day, ( or once if he has been to the beach). He will miss us while we are away and the person who sits him would ideally have experience in sitting an anxious dog. He is good on a lead, and is not aggressive at all. You will be comfortable handling a larger breed dog.

You will have the run of the house and you can use the main bedroom with ensuite. We would like you to water the plants, and mow the small lawn at the back if required. ( the front is maintained by a garden maintenance company ).

We would like to meet the sitter prior to the sit so they can be familiar with both Oddie and his routine. This could be an early arrival prior to us leaving or a stand alone meet.

There is electric car charging available, if you would like to use the charger please let us know prior and will make it available for your use.

Oddie is not a fan of children ( they are too noisey for him). So please no visiting children during the sit.

We are pet sitters ourselves and understand your requirements and what is expected.

We also have another sit requirement in September 2027 and would like the same sitter if possible, it's not a requirement something we would like if possible. Read more...
