About this house sitting position in Millgrove

We are situated in the beautiful Yarra Valley. Our timber house is a three bedroom (1 king, 1 double & 2 singles) two storey house, with split system heating/cooling and fire places to suit the different climate changes. It is surrounded by beautiful bush land and there is the gorgeous Yarra River out the front. This is freshwater from mountains and is so relaxing to sit by, swim in (maybe not do much during the winter months) or float/kayak down . The birdlife will come up close and feed from the bird feeder on the front verandah.

The beautiful town of Warburton is only 5 mins down the road. It is a gorgeous town with many cafes, restaurants, galleries annd walking trails. Warburton Mountain Bike trails are now open and fantastic to ride if you are into MTB, there’s also a pump track and playground in the area. The larger town with a Woolworths etc is in Yarra Junction, 10mins drive away. We are also situated along the famous Lilydale-Warburton rail trail.

We have 3 bubbly and super friendly miniature dachshunds, 2 girls (4years old) and 1 boy (2 years old). They love lazing around, wrestling with each other or getting cuddles from us. They don’t require walks everyday but they wouldn’t hate it if you wanted to get out and about daily either.

We are looking for people that are happy to stay out a little bit from the hustle and bustle, who can appreciate the trees and wildlife but also has an understanding and love of dogs. People that will care for our animals and look after our home as if it was your own. Read more...
