About this house sitting position in Mittagong

We have a clean and comfortable 4-bedroom home on a 2-acre battle axe block in a quiet location. The home also has a study and an attached two-bedroom granny flat. The home is split-level over 3 levels on a terraced slope. There are 6 steps from the lower level to the middle level and 8 steps from the middle level to the upper level.
Train station 3km, shopping centre, cinema and restaurants 4 km. Two hours by train to Sydney Central station.
We have two friendly larger dogs (1 x Rhodesian ridgeback cross and 1 x English pointer cross). They are well-trained rescue dogs who like to be around people. At night they sleep inside the house in cages so they don’t get up to any mischief. They can be left inside the house for up to 4 hours while you go out. If you are going to be away for more than 4 hours, there is a 3m x 3m enclosure for the dogs with a large kennel which can be used for longer absences, but not for overnight.
We have a slow combustion wood heater as well as gas central heating, both of which are needed during autumn and winter.
There is about 1.5 acres of lawn to mow, and although that could be done on our zero-turn ride-on mower with a 46-inch cutting deck, it probably wouldn’t need mowing at all during April and May.
This home would suit a couple who are retired or who work remotely.
You would need to keep our house in the condition you find it, water the garden and take the dogs for a daily walk and feed them. We would provide all dog food as well as gas, electricity and ample cut wood for the slow combustion stove. Read more...
