About this house sitting position in Montville

This house is one level, a cottage really, wooden , with one bathroom, a garage and an area through the garage which is covered with sails. There are three bedrooms, though one is a sewing area. There is one guest bedroom available for sleeping.We have some gardens and grass …which will probably need a mow and gardens kept an eye on ….We have tank water only , which supports all water usage of the house…. It is very quiet with an outlook to an old advocado farm and bush. We have two cats who are house cats only.( We love wild life). It would be good for you to have your own mini modem for internet( as we do)…Montville is situated in the Blackall mountains behind the Sunshine Coast. Closest supermarket is in Maleny 15 mins. The coast is 30 - 40 mins away. Brisbane 1 hour. Although there is public transport, it is desirable to have your own transport.

“What a joy it was to be able to stay in Lyn and Betsy's cottage in Montville. Communication was in depth, Lyn and Betsy were delightful with very clear instructions on how to look after Timi and Nona. The cottage was Spic and Span, in a lovely quiet area, the spare room spacious, the gardens were to die for and there were even some veges ready to eat. Timi took a few days to come around to having a stranger in the house and preferred his own company, but Nona surely made up for this and had cuddles enough for 2 :) So all in all, a highly recommended sit.”

“Our housesit at Lyn and Betsy’s place at Montville was fabulous and memorable. It was in a very quiet location at the back of an estate, had a beautiful garden full of flowers and vegetables and two adorable cats, Timi (male) and Nona (female). Nona warmed to us quickly and soon showed us her daily playtime activities and loved to sit on our laps at night time. Timi was a little bit more cautious getting to know us but eventually came around. The four of us bonded extremely well during the 2+ months we were housesitting. We are extremely grateful to Lyn and Betsy for trusting us to look after their place and their two adorable cats. ”
