Seeking house & dog sitter
Location: The Beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland - Mooloolah Valley

What we need: Seeking a kind, responsible, tidy and quiet person/couple to care for our beautiful mini labradoodle Baxter. He’s 2.5 years old & in training to become a therapy dog. He needs daily walks and time for play & rest. Looking for someone who will be home some of the time as that’s what he is used to. He’s fine on his own up to 5-6 hours (as we work). He also needs brushing very 2-3 days to prevent knots.
Preferably someone with experience caring for dogs/poodle x.
We also have an array of indoor & outdoor plants that will need watering.
Must have references.
The house: A comfortable four bedroom, two bathroom home surrounded by half an acre of tropical, green gardens. The outdoor living space is a real highlight — spacious, shaded and peaceful, perfect for morning coffees, afternoon reading, or just soaking up that beautiful hinterland quiet.

The area: Nestled in the hinterland behind the Sunshine Coast, Mooloolah Valley is a peaceful rural community that feels a world away from the hustle — yet is only a short drive to everything you need. Surrounded by lush green hills, horse properties, and the gentle sounds of nature, it's the kind of place where you wake up to birdsong and fall asleep to complete quiet. The valley has a lovely community feel, with a charming little township, a beloved local pub, and easy access to both the Bruce Highway and the stunning beaches of the Sunshine Coast.

The Mooloolah township is literally four minutes down the road, so you've got all your basics covered — IGA for groceries, a bakery, pharmacy, café, Mitre 10, takeaway food and more.
