About this house sitting position in Mount Barker

In need of a house sitter for 5th to 14th January 2026.

We are situated in Mount Barker a short drive from the main street. There is a Woolworths, McDonald's and cafe approximately 2km's away from our home but it is uphill. Keoride services our area but there is also a bus route about 2km away. Our home is a small 3 bedroom home on a small block. There is parking available in the drive way but not in the garage. The house has ducted air con and wifi available. We can also set you up to use our streaming services.

We have a cat/Honey (nearly 2 years old) and dog/Maggie (4 years old) and will require the dog to be taken for a walk (around half an hour) each day. She is a small white boxer but is strong and she pulls at every point during the walk. Other than her walk she is a pretty chill dog and will either sleep or play with her toys. She does require a vet prescribed food but that will of course be provided.

The cat is an inside cat who is almost independent although does like a pat now and then and may sleep with you at night if you allow. She will just need to be fed twice a day and have her litter cleaned but will be fairly self sufficient. Read more...
