About this house sitting position in Mount Druitt

Welcome to our home! We have a small to mid-sized three-bedroom fibro home with an open-plan living and dining area. You’ll have your own private bedroom and are welcome to use anything in the house during your stay.

The most important member of our household is Ben, our friendly red Staffy cross. Ben is a goofy, affectionate, family-oriented boy who genuinely believes he’s a lap dog despite being built like a tank! He loves people and is always happy to say hello, and our neighbours all know and adore him.

I’ve never seen Ben show aggression towards another animal. He’s very social and loves meeting other dogs. Occasionally, he can misread another dog’s body language and assume they want to play when they don’t, so we simply keep an eye on him during interactions.

Ben absolutely loves going for walks. One walk each day keeps him happy, but if you’d like to take him out more often, he’ll happily join you. If you have a friendly dog of your own, Ben would also love a playmate.

Ben is fed once each morning and doesn’t require any medication. He sleeps inside wherever he chooses—usually on one of the couches or his bed.

We have a large backyard for Ben to enjoy while you’re home. However, it isn’t fully secure, so we ask that you don’t leave him outside unattended.

If you’re heading out for a while, please pop Ben into the garage. He’s perfectly happy there with a comfortable couch, a soft mat, and familiar scents to keep him company. This also saves our living room couch from becoming his favourite chew toy while you’re away!

There are no expectations for deep cleaning during your stay. We simply ask that you treat our home with care and leave it tidy, just as you found it.
