About this house sitting position in Mount Gambier

We are located 5-10 mins walk to shopping centre with Bunnings, Big W, Woolies and a small food court.
5 min drive into the town centre and located near a bus stop.
30 min drive to the closest cute little beach town.
We have a wood fire and also 3 air conditioners.

I have 4 darling cats all with different but sweet personalities. I’m home every day so I don’t like to leave them for long extended periods as they’re not used to it.
3 will mostly keep to themselves but might be brave enough for a pat and once comfortable sit in your vicinity. We have 2 lounge rooms and they usually hang out in the front one.
I keep my senior girl separated-ish (I can explain logistics in depth later) because she doesn’t like other cats much but she just adores human companionship and sleeps on the bed every night as she cries when alone for long periods of time. She gets let out during the day and spends her time in the garden or granny flat, then brought back in at night.

I am also fostering 3 cats- approx. 2 yrs old, a 12 month old and a 6 week old kitten. The older one is very shy but loves pats, the middle one will stay away from humans but is very happy keeping herself amused. She will also play with the kitten who is independent but loves cuddles when sleepy. Not sure how many will be here when the pet sit happens.

I know 7 can sound overwhelming, but all they require is wet food morning and night, ensuring their water and biscuit bowls are topped up, and emptying litter boxes twice a day. And just a loving presence in the house.
I do it myself every day and I feel like I have a pretty good system and routine in place so it doesn’t take up too much time. Read more...
