About this house sitting position in Mount Warren Park

We’re looking for someone lovely to stay in our home and keep our gorgeous girl, Rousey, company while we’re away.

*The house*

We have a comfortable 3-bedroom home with a large yard and carport, conveniently located about halfway between Brisbane City and the Gold Coast – so you can easily tap into either vibe in your free time.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed and air conditioning, and there’s also a hot tub outside (full disclosure: it only gets to about 32°C, so think very warm pool rather than steaming spa ??). Lounge room and kitchen has aircon too.

We’re around a 20-minute walk from Beenleigh Station if you’d prefer to use public transport, with regular buses nearby too.

*Meet Rousey*

Rousey is our beautiful 5-year-old American Staffy, around 25kg, and genuinely has the sweetest soul.

She’s very friendly, well trained and great with people, kids and other dogs. She loves company and affection but is also very easy to look after.

Her routine is simple:

* Fed twice a day
* Two walks a day
* Plenty of pats and company

Her legs are a little dodgy, so she doesn’t need long hikes, running or anything particularly strenuous. A nice daily walk is plenty for her.

We’d love someone who genuinely enjoys dogs and is happy to treat Rousey and our home as their own while we’re away. Read more...
