You will have your own room with a queen bed & dresser.
The bathroom is still currently original but clean and functional.
We do have some renovations taking place at the front of the house but there is easy access via our second driveway to the house.
We have a lovely outdoor deck space with BBQ and great views if Lake Illawarra and the escarpment. Amazing sunrise views.
There is a lovely wood fireplace inside or ducted reverse cycle AC for convenience.
We have 2 small dogs to be cared for. Daisy our Black Cavoodle and Henk, her friend, the Chestnut Cavalier. They are both affectionate, loving and friendly. They are after pats and snuggles and love going for walks. Or just chasing the ball inside if the weather is awful.
On longer trips we would require some indoor plants to be watered.
We are looking for short term (weekend or long weekend) sits from the end of July to Sept. We also have a longer holiday in Oct for 1 month if we can find the right person. Our needs are last minute mostly as it depends on the snow conditions but we have 2 long weekends set. We would prefer to connect with the same person to care for our home and fur-babies if possible.
Our home is near the walking/biking path for Lake Illawarra. A short drive to the beach and boat ramps and accessible to bush walks in the escarpment. These include some beautiful waterfalls. There are multiple golf courses within a 20min drive. Shellharbour Marina is only a 15min drive away where there are lovely cafe's and an amazing walk around to the beaches.
The Southern Highlands is only 1hr drive away up Macquarie Pass which is a lovely drive on its own.
Kiama, voted one of the best destinations in Australia is 15mins drive away. Read more...
