About this house sitting position in Mt Louisa, Townsville

We are looking for someone to look after our house and animals while we are meeting our new granddaughter in Brisbane. We have a big but gentle dog (Jake) and a cat (Ernie) that likes scratches and pats but not cuddles. Because we are retired the animals are used to us being around most of the time. Jake looks forward to his daily afternoon visit to the nearby dog park where he socializes with everyone, but is also up for a walk or beach run if offered. Both Jake and Ernie are fed their main meal in the evening but also receive a small amount of dry food in the morning. Ernie lies a lot and often insists he missed out on his morning snacks. Do not believe him!
There is a fish tank in the lounge. The fish are easy care and just need to be fed daily.
Our house is very centrally situated in Townsville and is 15/20 mins from just about everything. Built on the side of a hill, it has lovely views to the city and Magnetic Island. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is open planned with a large deck. The house is fully airconditioned with spit systems - except for the study/3rd bedroom which has a box type. There is an open carport at the back of the property. The garden is easily maintained and is watered by a sprinkler system. There is very little lawn because of the rocky site. Because of the sloping block, it is not suitable for caravans. The kitchen has a dishwasher, wall oven, induction cook top, air fryer and microwave.
Townsville is a small city that has all the amenities of a larger city - just easier to get to. There are many beautiful walks, parks and beaches as well as both fresh and salt water, free swimming places. Read more...
