About this house sitting position in Mt Macedon
Nestled on one acre in the tranquil surrounds of Mount Macedon, our unique timber A-frame retreat offers a peaceful escape immersed in nature. With expansive verandas and sweeping mountain views, it’s the perfect place to slow down, unwind, and experience the beauty of regional Victoria.
The home features soaring exposed-beam ceilings, abundant natural light from skylights, and a spacious mezzanine level that enhances its warm, open character. Thoughtfully renovated throughout, it includes a beautifully appointed kitchen and modern bathroom complete with a relaxing bathtub. In cooler months, curl up beside the wood fireplace, while split-system heating and cooling ensure year-round comfort.
Outside, the garden bursts with seasonal colour and flowers throughout the year. The property is located in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood renowned for its natural beauty and abundant wildlife. Wake to the calls of native birds and keep an eye out for resident kangaroos, wallabies and the occasional echidna wandering through the area.
The acreage is shared with a second, larger dwelling, which may also be available for accommodation depending on timing and requirements—making it an ideal option for extended family or groups travelling together.
Just a short drive from the charming villages, cafés, walking trails and gardens of the Macedon Ranges, our home offers the best of both worlds: a secluded bush retreat with easy access to local attractions.
We hope you’ll love this special place as much as we do.
Our chihuahua brothers have never been apart. They are 9 and love walkies and cuddles. One of them will be nervous at first but turns out to be the biggest sook, he protects his brother and eventually you too. The block of our street loops in nature, there are cars so they will have to be on lead always when out. They get walked once a day. There is also a walk up to local winery and yaks that is more flat, that on cold days be more fitting. They free feed and are diary free pescatarian. (Like us) Read more...
