About this house sitting position in Murrumbateman

Our home is a single-storey 4 bed, 2 bath, semi-rural home on just over 2 acres. We are heated and cooled and have a full indoor gym. Outside is a solar heated pool and (weather pending) a lot of grass to mow (Eduardo is the zero-turn, ride-on, gardening companion who will ably assist).
We do have an extensive garden which is largely easily maintained. A confident and willing gardener would be preferable, because there may be some minor maintenance required while we're away.

We have tank water and a septic system (no maintenance required)

Our dogs are a Rhodesian Ridgeback, Ruby, and a Border Terrier, Buffy (they're both wonderfully loopy and spoilt) who come as part of the package. They are both a bit special in their own ways. Ruby probably won't go for a walk with you, because she thinks she's being stolen if anyone but me tries to take her. Buffy however will happily go! They spend a lot of time on the couch and trying to steal your dinner if you look the other way, but they're a cuddly pair, so you must be a dog person (or persons).

We have a flock of chooks who have their own pad and will only require minimal maintenance. They're all named after Star Trek characters. Head of the pack is Picard (of course).

Our village centre is a 5 minute drive away with shops, cafes, pub, medical centre etc. (and within half an hour drive to Canberra)
