About this house sitting position in Nambucca Heads

Come on holidays to the stunning seaside town of Nambucca Heads in the Nambucca Valley. Well known for its beaut river, beaches, and coastal vibe.

We live in a 2-storey home minutes from the river, beaches and local shops. We seek a housesitting couple experienced with large dogs who can be home a lot to care for a 10-year-old Labrador X and an 8-year-old golden Labrador (~30kgs). Some garden watering will be needed.

Our pups are well trained and generally well behaved. They love the dog off-lead beach a 6-minute drive away and the dog park - within walking distance.

We have a good-sized fenced garden, undercover back patio and fenced balcony. It’s a terrific flat walk along the river to the mouth of the Nambucca River and out along the breakwater. A great mountain bike park called Jacks Ridge is about 10 minutes away. This location is a really good spot for walking, swimming, cycling, kayaking, fishing and has a local golf course on nearby Stuarts Island.

Most shops are available in Nambucca Heads including a Woolworths and IGA, RSL, Surf Club cafe, Bowlo and numerous restaurants and riverside eating options. Coffs Harbour is about 35 minutes away with everything. Nambucca is near the lovely historic towns of Macksville, Bowraville and Bellingen.

Lie in bed at night and listen to the waves crashing ashore!

We seek non-smoking house sitters who have experience caring for large dogs and are able to take them out once or twice every day. A level of fitness will be required.

We'd prefer to be able to meet sitters before we confirm a house sit arrangement.
