About this house sitting position in Nimmitabel

Our home is an old hundred year old double brick place with 1990's reno at the back and on half an acre. She is not pristine given her age but very comfortable. We have one dog, a 19 month old Rottweiler called Blue, and a 16 year old cat call Rosie. Both are very easy to care for with no issues and no medications. Blue loves people, walks, socks, car trips, and eating firewood from the pile. He's a love bug and hilarious when he gets the zoomies outside. Rosie is very chill, loves a cuddle and likes to wander around the yard doing her own thing. She lets you know down to the minute when its tea time! She never misses it.

There are minmal requirements for our time away. The yards will be mown, etc before we leave and it grows slowly that time of year. Some sprinkler time is about all that will be needed.

We have starlink, caravan parking if required, BBQ, heaters/fireplace if its cool and thankfully due to the climate here, open windows and doors keep the house nice and cool if it is warm outside. Floor fans and ceiling fans do a great a job. We don't often exceed 30 degrees here.

There are places to walk, Tathra and its beaches is about an hour and 15 minutes away. Jindabyne is an hour, Cooma is 20 minutes and Canberra is an hour and 40 minutes away. There is loads to do around the area and nearby. Read more...
