Hello and welcome 🌿

We’re Rach and Andrew, and we live on a peaceful 46-acre property around 20 minutes north-east of Gympie. We both work in Defence and will be overseas for the month of September on a well-earned holiday. During that time, we are looking for the right person or couple to care for our most important family member — our beloved cat, Cleo.

About Cleo 🐾

Cleo is very much the queen of the household. She likes to give the impression she’s independent and not overly affectionate, but she truly enjoys knowing someone is around. While she saves her cuddles mostly for her mum, calm, kind human company is essential to her happiness.

Cleo is strictly an indoor-only cat. She does love the idea of the outdoors and will occasionally try her luck at sneaking out, so being vigilant with doors and windows at all times is essential. Her safety and wellbeing are our absolute priority, and we’re looking for sitters who genuinely enjoy caring for a cat and being present in the home.

The Home & Property

The house is modern, comfortable, and fully equipped, with a lovely guest bedroom overlooking the pool. While the property is large, it is very low-maintenance.
• Pool cleaner to be popped in once a week (you’re very welcome to enjoy the pool)
• Lawns are mown fortnightly by Rach’s dad
• No animals requiring feeding or heavy property work

You’ll also share the space — at a respectful distance — with some local wildlife. A small family of cheeky magpies visit and enjoy the occasional treat, and wallabies often graze quietly in the backyard in the early mornings and evenings. It’s a special and very peaceful part of living here.

There are lovely walks around the property, quiet places to sit and read, and a large, established orchard to wander through.

Location & Support

Although the setting feels private and secluded, you’re not isolated. Rach’s parents live just down the road and are always happy to help if anything is needed.
