About this house sitting position in Norton Summit

Hi, we are seeking a reliable, responsive and trustworthy housesitter/pet sitter to look after our lovely fur children while we are away.

We have an older dog (kelpie x shepherd) and 2 cats. They are used to having someone home with them most of the time, and a peaceful, quiet home. We feed them twice daily, and check/change the cat litter boxes at least every second day. We take our dog to off leash areas and walking trails occasionally, but he is also happy just to have the run of the property (and the house). They are all very loved, well-behaved and cuddly, and like to sleep on the beds with their humans.

Our home is on a small hobby farm in Norton Summit, in Adelaide Hills. The house is a lovely renovated 1960's build.
Our property is fully fenced and nestled amongst hills with a gorgeous outlook. It is close to walking trails, pubs and cafes, just 6 mins from Magill and 25 mins from Adelaide, yet also very secluded and a beautiful retreat away from the busyness of the city.

The house has 4 bedrooms (one of which is an office, and one of which is a mixed-use gym/ office/ TV room/ bedroom), an open plan kitchen/living/dining and 2 bathrooms. It is all one level except for the mixed use room and second bathroom under the main part of the house.

We would like to find someone who loves animals who can care for them like we do, while enjoying our property with them. Photo and video updates would be much appreciated.

We have a few indoor plants that will need watering, and depending on the weather, we may ask you to turn on our bore operated irrigation system, and/or mow/brush cut if needed during your stay. Otherwise, there should be minimal maintenance required. We will provide full instructions.

Note that we are on tank water and have a septic system, so you will need to be conscious of water usage and what goes down the drains, but otherwise it's not much different to being on the mains.

We leave on the morning of 20 Oct but would like our sitter/s to arrive the day before (19 Oct) so that someone is here when we leave. We will arrive back home on the morning of 16 Nov.
