About this house sitting position in Nundah
Small 2 bed, 1 bath unit in Nundah near the train station, looking after a ~18 month old rescued Border Collie cross sweet heart named Audrey
ABOUT THE HOUSE:
The main bed and living area have A/C, and ceiling fans in all rooms. The second bedroom is set up as an office with a sofa bed. Downstairs there is laundry, a yoga/gym area, and an infrared sauna downstairs for your use.
TV in the living room with Netflix, Binge, Prime Video, and Disney + for you to use. There is one flight of stairs to enter the house.
Note that there is some train noise due to its proximity to the train station. There is a secure garage shared with the neighbour.
ABOUT AUDREY:
Audrey is a sensitive sweetheart who had the biggest heart once she warms up to people. Bu she is a rescue who does deal with separation anxiety and general anxiety. Ideally you won't be out of the house for more than 3-4 hours at a time - she may still struggle with this at the start given you are new to her. She has preferred walking routes that I will share with you. I can work with you to coordinate with neighbours or daycare if you need more time out of the house.
She loves other dogs and looks forward to her local daily dog park visits around 4:30 pm - ideally your schedule will support this as its the highlight of her day. She also gets a longer walk in the morning and a short trip out to the field across the street around lunch time.
She is house trained to a good enough extent - she goes outside on the patio when home but sometimes refuses her 2 pet loos and will go on the tile. A soapy scrub and hose down of this might be required a couple times a week.
Due to her sensitive nature, you must be available for a meet and greet before I leave. She sleeps in the bed - so a true dog lover is a must. Unfortunately the house is not suited to children. Another small-medium dog may be able to stay here as well.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I have been a housesitter for many eyars before getting Audrey, including some full-time periods, so have sat on both sides of the table. Read more...
