Peaceful Off-Grid House Sit on 700 Acres – Nymboida, NSW

We live on a private 700-acre property in the hills of Nymboida, surrounded by National Parks and State Forest. If you enjoy peace, wildlife, and wide open Australian bushland, this is a truly special place to stay.

Our home is a comfortable two-bedroom off-grid “shouse”, set amongst beautiful native bush. Although the house is cosy, most of our time is spent outdoors on the large 25m × 5m deck, which overlooks the property and is the perfect place to relax, read, or enjoy the sounds of nature.

The home is fully off-grid with solar power and substantial battery storage, providing reliable power for everyday living. We also have reliable Starlink internet, so staying connected is not a problem.

Water is supplied from 260,000 litres of rainwater tank storage, ensuring ample water supply during your stay.

Access to the property is via a recently graded gravel driveway. All two-wheel-drive vehicles have successfully accessed the property, however modern AWD-style vehicles are best suited for rural roads.

We share the property with two friendly dogs and eleven chickens. The responsibilities are simple:

Feed the dogs daily and spend some time with them – walks or playing games with them is all they really want.

Feed and water the chickens.

Collect the eggs, which you are very welcome to enjoy during your stay.
