Our home is a two storey brick veneer in a quiet court close to public transport and shopping centres. The main living area is on the ground level. Upstairs is a bedroom, bathroom and lounge area with television and a wood heater. There is also a balcony which overlooks a park and playground area. Although we are in the suburbs we have a lot of open space around us and a number of walking and bike trails. Beautiful Karkarook Park is just a short walk away and, if you like parkrun, it hosts a friendly and pretty parkrun on Saturday mornings. The beach is about a ten minute drive down Warrigal Road - a pretty spot even in winter.
Our two senior dogs (15 years and 12 years) only need a short walk each day and two meals a day. They are mostly inside dogs and, although they are happy in their own company, they do enjoy having human company as well. We leave them inside when we are not home and they are not distressed if left alone for several hours.
Our two cats (10 years and 2 years) are quite social and chatty - happy to spend time with you or enjoying a nap in any comfy spot they can find. They have three meals a day but will try and talk you into an extra one. They are confident to go outside but are not left outside when no-one is home and are not allowed outside once it is dark.
Our medium size garden is low maintenance so it will require little attention. We have a covered deck out the back and an undercover paved area also out the back. Both are nice quiet places to sit and relax. Read more...
