About this house sitting position in Olinda

My husband, Hayden, and I are heading overseas for four weeks and are looking for a reliable house and pet sitter.

We have two long-haired dachshunds who will need caring for while we're away. They're very people-oriented and enjoy plenty of company. Ideally, we'd love someone who isn't out of the house all day, every day, but this isn't a deal-breaker at all—they're quite accustomed to being left alone for 10+ hours a day a few times a week. They also enjoy walks 3–4 times per week.

We have a fish tank that requires minimal care: the fish need feeding once a day, and the water level will need topping up occasionally.

Our home is nestled just off the main tourist road amongst beautiful Mountain Ash trees and tree ferns. It has four bedrooms and a good-sized backyard. If you happen to have a green thumb, that's a bonus! We're in a constant battle with weeds and may ask for the occasional lawn mow. We also have a number of indoor plants that will need watering every 1–2 weeks.
