About this house sitting position in Orana

** I have had lots of applicants to housesit which I wasn’t expecting. I am now in limbo until April when I find out if I am successful for the overseas placement and will finalise a housesitter then. Thank you**

HOUSE
Quaint 3 x 1 single storey house
Huge semi enclosed 80m2 patio opening onto outdoor fire pit with built in porch swings under festoon lights.
Enclosed easy care lawn backyard.

PETS
1 x 7yo cat ‘Mrs Whiskas’ - very cuddly, indoor / outdoor girl. Has some tummy issues (IBS) so is on a prescribed food diet (hydrolysed protein biscuits only) & occasional medication.

1 x 3yo dog “Archie” (Staffy x Ridgeback). Friendly, dopey, enjoys a walk 2-3 x per week but gets sore hips if he overdoes it. Archie has helped us foster many dogs however must be kept on leash outside of the yard if other dogs are around. Loves a cuddle & to bark Good Morning at anyone walking by his house.

Albany (Kinjarling - “Place of rain”) is a small city with a country coastal vibe home of the Menang Noongar people. You can find rich, cultural history here visiting the Oyster Harbour Fish Traps, the sleeping lady at the Porongurups, or local bush medicines.

We have lots of historical buildings including the National Anzac Centre merged with amazing coastal or bush hiking trails…

🏝️ 🎣 Albany is a beautiful coastal town with so many beaches to choose from. Whether it’s swimming at Middleton Beach or Emu Point, surfing at MuttonBird or heading to Denmark to explore Greens Pool, Elephant Rocks, Madfish Bay or the Prawn Rock Channel (when it’s blue). There are plenty of fishing spots or 4WD tracks too if you have the right gear.
