About this house sitting position in Oyster Bay

We are a family of three, my husband and I are both university professors, and we have a 19 year old daughter at university in Canberra. Our house in Oyster Bay (in the Sutherland Shire--our train stop is Como Station) has large windows overlooking Coronation bay, a large furnished deck off the living room, and three levels of garden in the back.

We are looking for someone calm and responsible to stay with our 10 year old dog--he's a medium sized (15 kg) labradoodle mix named Auggie--and we have a small fish pond outside that gets a pinch of food every other day.

Apart from teaching we do research and writing at home, so Auggie is used to sleeping next to us most of the day (and he sleeps a lot more now that he's getting older) until it's time to chase the ball upstairs in the garden or go for a walk. Auggie is treated like our child and is very affectionate and loving as a result. I'm happy to set up a time to meet.

For this house stay we aren't able to accommodate sitters who need to bring their own pets with them, unfortunately, and the house is not set up for children either at the moment. A single person or couple would be ideal.
