About this house sitting position in Pacific Pines

We are looking for a reliable, dog-loving house sitter to look after our home and beloved Blue Heeler from Wednesday evening through to Sunday morning.

Our Blue Heeler is a high-energy, loving boy who thrives on companionship and play.

Daily Routine: He needs plenty of play time (mental stimulation) in the yard and 1–2 walks a day.

Temperament & Lead Work: He is used to someone working from home full-time, so we’d love a sitter who can keep him company for most of the day (this is flexible, but ideal). He can be a little jumpy when meeting you at first, but settles right down once he knows you.

Walking & Handling: He is generally very good on the lead, but can occasionally pull (mainly towards his enemies the Bin Chicken and the Garbage Man), so a sitter who is physically strong and confident with energetic dogs is essential.

He can also sometimes be reactive people running past and other distractions (this is rare, he's usually good, but as he gets older he has been testing boundaries). We live on a quiet dead-end street though, so it makes it very easy to enjoy peaceful walks without running into people or other dogs.

About the House & Location
You’ll be staying in a comfortable, fully equipped home set up for a relaxing stay: High-speed internet and Netflix included, plus a private swimming pool to unwind in. Convenient location close to local parks and shops (4 minute drive from Westfield Helensvale).
