About this house sitting position in Paddington

I have a comfortable 3-bedroom townhouse in a quiet and friendly complex a short walk from the cafes, bars and shops in Paddington and Rosalie.

My guest bedroom (for you) has its own en suite and gets lovely morning sun, but also has blackout curtains for those early Brisbane dawns!

There is air conditioning, access to the shared swimming pool, and use of my garage (one car).

The main feature of your housesitting for me will be hanging out with Maggie, an eight-year old, gentle border collie. She was raised by a very lazy labrador so she knows how to sleep the day (and night) away but we also live in a great area for walking and go out every day for a good sniff-and-stroll.

Maggie has some arthritis so her days of leaping after tennis balls are over but she can easily manage a 3-5km neighbourhood walk or - up to you - any of the tracks around nearby Mt Coot-tha. She is cafe-trained and loves to get out. She takes a simple medicine daily to make her more comfortable.

The house is pretty easy care and I have a fortnightly cleaner so will alert you if they come during your stay.

The laundry is on the basement/garage level and the bathrooms are on the top/bedroom floor, so you need to be ok with stairs.

There is also plenty of visitor parking, and buses to the city and elsewhere run regularly along Latrobe Terrace, a short walk from here. Outside of surge pricing, an Uber or taxi to the city or Southbank is usually less than $20.

Plenty of streaming channel options on the TVs as well as fast internet. I used to work from home so there is a full office set up in case that is part of your world too.
