About this house sitting position in Petrie

Hi,

My husband Ken and I are looking for someone to look after our home and fur babies while we explore some of this amazing country in our van. We own a lovely 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom high set modern Queenslander located in the beautiful suburb of Petrie in North Brisbane. Our home is situated in a quiet culesac across the road from the North Pine Rivers and a koala corridor with well maintained and accessible walking paths and parks. We are in walking distance to local shops, cafes and restaurants as well as the Petrie train station and bus stops to make accessing the diverse city of Brisbane easy. The house is fully air-conditioned/heated and has a pool. There is also a gravel area to park your van if needed and a secure undercover car port for your vehicle.

We have a number of furbabies who we require care for:
- Izzy, a 9 year old loveable kelpie/labx female who will lavish you with all the love and affection.
- Patrick, a young male red cattle dog who can be anxious/reactive and take awhile to warm up to new people. He requires patience, consistency, exercise and lots of positive reinforcement in the form of treats and games of fetch.
- KitKat, a tuxedo cat who likes to greet everyone in the driveway and will love you in exchange for food.
- 4 chickens who may give you eggs if they are in the mood.

We are open to families, couples or singles looking after our property but request no young children due to the our dog’s anxiety. We would also prefer to meet with you prior to our departure so you can get to know our animals and talk through their care requirements.
