About this house sitting position in Piedmont

Hi there, we have a comfortable three bedroom house with a modern kitchen and bathroom with wood fired oven and hydronic heating in beautiful West Gippsland.
We have a 168 acre cattle farm bordering state park (Noojee state park), with La Trobe River frontage, with lots of fantastic areas to walk, hike & explore. We intend to get a neighbour to look after our cattle, but if you had experience with cattle and were interested, we could negotiate pay (they only require low level care at this time of year).
Our dogs are Patches a 3 year old border collie cross cavalier (gorgeous fat boy) & Blondie a 1 year old kelpie/staffy cross high energy, highly affectionate lady who needs a firm hand but loves to snooze after a good walk. Our cat Marsi is low key, lazy and sometimes likes cuddles.
We have about 16 chooks & 2 geese in our secure orchard that need putting in and out of their chook caravan each day, fresh water and feed.
June/July can be pretty miserable (lots of rain & moody clouds) but we have lots of dry wood to burn in our wood fired heaters & oven to keep warm after your walks outside.
We're after some to be around our dogs mostly fulltime, we don't really want someone to be gone most of the day. Read more...
