About this house sitting position in Point Lonsdale

My wife, Trish, and I are looking for someone to mind our 8 year old Australian Shepherd, Sassy, while we are away for two weeks in September 2026. We are also asking that some of our plants be watered if the weather requires this.
Our comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, brick single story home is located in the popular coastal holiday destination of Point Lonsdale, Victoria. It is located at the entrance to Port Philip Bay and our home is within walking distance of beaches and shops. There are several cafes, award winning wine bar, supermarket, chemist, post office and a couple of boutique retail outlets in town.
Sassy is a basically well behaved, affectionate and intelligent dog, with a special love for walks and food. While 1-2 km walks are ok, a ACL knee injury earlier this year has put an end to the beach, fetch, frisbee or other strenuous activity. She still loves to be part of the “family” though.
