About this house sitting position in Port Macquarie

I have two toy poodles - Dixie is 8 years old and Lily is 18 months. I am looking for a person who loves small dogs and will give them some companionship during the day. My ideal sitter would enjoy taking them on a walk to the local cafe and going on short walks around the neighbourhood. They would be someone with no dogs of their own who doesn’t mind if one of the dogs curls up on their lap to watch TV with them. There are comfortable sitting spots around the garden and the dogs will like to join you there They are professionally groomed so will not need daily brushing though I usually wipe away the tear stains from Dixie’s eyes every day - a 5 minute job. They are “inside dogs” but are used to being left in the house for up to 4 hours so sitters can feel comfortable going to the shops, movies, beach etc. One point to note is that Dixie has been used to sleeping on the bed at night since she was a puppy while Lily is used to sleeping in a crate in the bedroom.

My house is light, bright and easy care. The guest bedroom (double bed) is located beside the main bathroom. Spacious main living area with smart TV and a smaller carpeted sitting room (which doubles as the dogs morning playroom) with FTA television. Kitchen has all the usual amenities. Courtyards front and back give sun and shade depending on time of day. An easy 10 minute walk to my local shopping centre with supermarket, pharmacy, butcher, food outlets, hairdresser and medical centre. It’s a 10minute drive to the CBD and two major shopping centres. Lots of facilities to suit all interests. Many beaches and all are within a 15 minute drive. Great climate as well.

I have about a dozen indoor pot plants which might need watering once or twice during your stay. The garden is basically very low maintenance - a few outdoor pots to water every 3 or 4 days. There will be no need to mow or weed during the sit. Read more...
