About this house sitting position in Portarlington

Double story home in lovely Portarlington with stunning views of the bay from the front verandah. House has a swimming pool and large backyard with bbq, fire pit with an extra bbq upstairs off the kitchen. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, laundry facilities and a large verandah across the front. 5 min walk to Portarlington shops for Woolworths, bakery, pub, cafes etc. Portarlington is 30 mins drive from Geelong, 1.5 hours drive from Melbourne and there is a ferry that will take you to Melbourne too. We require a responsible, and capable house and pet sitter as we have 4 dogs. 2 golden retrievers (Red 8yo & Belle 4yo), a fox terrier (Billie 15yo) and a jack russell (Max 13yo). The dogs love people and love nothing more than to snuggle. Ideally we would like Belle and Red to have a walk a couple times a week, the older dogs don't require a walk. Both of the terriers do require daily medication which we can talk you through. The house has streaming services, WiFi and air con/heating. Preferably would prefer someone who is WFH or not out for long periods all the time as the dogs are used to having us around. This would best suit a dog person as our dogs are inside dogs who like to cuddle on the couch and sleep in the same bedroom as you.
Happy to have the successful applicant stay longer than the required dates but need at least those dates covered. Read more...
