About this house sitting position in PUDDLEDOCK

Come and experience the high country! We are looking for a responsible non-smoking house sitter for our dogs Basil and Herbie, two cats Theo and Jazzy, house rabbit Pele, a few chickens and some guinea pigs. The friendly cows and their babies are quite self-sufficient but may need some hay thrown to them as the grass isn't growing at the moment.

Our beautiful, strawbale home is situated on 120 acres just 15 minutes north of historic Armidale and commands an impressive view over the surrounding countryside. There is a beautiful garden to explore and a fire for those autumn nights.

This is your chance to experience sustainable living as the house is completely off the grid but without any compromises in lifestyle or convenience. Our dogs are very friendly and people orientated, so we would prefer someone who is able to be around for at least part of the day and to take them for a walk morning and evening. That's not to say you can't get out and enjoy all this lovely region has to offer from the shopping and great cafes in nearby Armidale to the wineries and microbrewery in Uralla just half an hours drive away. For those who like walking or birdwatching, you would have access to some of the most amazing gorge country and national parks NSW has to offer.
