About this house sitting position in Randwick

Hi there, I am searching for the right person to house sit my cosy 1 bedroom home in Randwick to care for my 1 year old puppy, Lorenzo - I will be on a work trip overseas and require a carer at my home from June 7th midday, until 20th June (AM).

I work from home and Lorenzo is a great companion, he's house trained, obedient, playful, quiet and a handsome, lovely boy.
As I work from home and often take him to work on days I'm visiting my projects outdoors and office environments, Lorenzo is use to company most of the day, however he is happy to be alone for up to 5 hours, if he has been walked and fed, he will patiently await your return -

We have a park nearby with other small dogs and puppies, where Lorenzo loves visiting and playing with his friends between 5-6pm, otherwise there are plenty of lovely walks in the area. I usually walk Lorenzo for 30mins-1hour in the morning and 30mins in the evening. He is good on the harness lead walking and I often take his black little treat bag (clip it into my waist) on most walks to keep up with his recall and training, when we go to the local park a short walk away I'll take his water, as he zooms around off leash with his friends, he gets quite thirsty!

Our one bedroom apartment shares a dozen other apartments and we have a large communal fully fenced yard, where only myself, Lorenzo and our two Neighbour's and their 2 year old 'oodles' use the yard, we are very lucky!!! They will be around too if you ever need help with Lorenzo, he loves his Neighbours, has played with them for 9 months and they all playing together in the yard at lunch time and sometimes AM & PM.

I would also require my plants watered once or twice while I'm away and monitored, however they are very self sufficient and create a very lovely vibe in our cosy home.

There are plenty of coffee shops nearby, a city bush walk 'Fred hollows' just down the road, centennial park and coogee beach approx. 20min walk. As mentioned Lorenzo is a good confident lead walker with harness, but as he is an extra small dog, please take care of big dogs if and when they are off leash!

Lorenzo loves people, most dogs (except big dogs and intense big puppies) and he likes kids! He loves to lay around the house in winter with his jumper on. When we go outside and return I'll always wipe down his feet with pet wipes to ensure he is nice and clean in our beautiful, clean home! And yes, he does sleep in my bed, but I am confident he's clean, he prefers to sleep down by my feet and sleeps the whole night without any wriggles or movement - Great snuggly boy!

Ideally, I prefer a single retired person that can give him all the attention and loves dogs, plants and has experience with animals and in particular small dogs.

My balcony is a lovely Oasis that is like a retreat, it's a quiet apartment even though the shops are very close by and public transport is out the front and down the street - perfect for a trip to Coogee beach or the city!

I have a manual car, if this may be helpful to you during your stay. Otherwise I can move my car to the street and you can park your own vehicle in my carpark space in covered area below apartment.

I have friends and family that can look after him, however I would prefer someone special that can take care of him most of the time and will give him the love and care he deserves and that I give to him each and everyday and in return you get to stay in our beautiful cosy home!!

Also, even though he likes kids and is well socialized, I prefer not to leave him alone with kids as in my experience they are unpredictable and big dogs can be too!

Hope to hear from someone suitable soon, as my work trip is a month away! I will mention that I will need a carer at my home a few more times in the next few months due to more trips upcoming, so please let me know your availability during June, August and September, many thanks in advance.
