About this house sitting position in Ravenswood

I’m looking for a kind, reliable and experienced house/pet sitter to stay in my home in Ravenswood from 6–13 October while I’m away at work.

The most important part of the stay is looking after my beautiful little dog, Chachi. He is 16 years old and has been my little shadow for many years, so I’m looking for someone gentle, caring and confident with senior dogs.

Chachi is happiest at home in familiar surroundings. These days life is fairly quiet for him — lots of sleeping, pottering around the house and garden, meals, cuddles and having someone nearby.

He recently experienced a couple of seizures and is now on anti-seizure medication, so his medication needs to be given reliably at the required times. I’ll provide clear instructions and everything you need, along with my vet’s details.

Because of Chachi’s age and recent health changes, I’m specifically looking for someone who is home during the day, or at least home for the majority of the day. Short outings are absolutely fine, but I don’t want him left alone for long periods. Someone who works from home, is retired, or simply enjoys spending most of their time at home would be ideal.

Previous experience with senior dogs and administering medication would be wonderful, although the most important thing is finding someone attentive, dependable and genuinely caring.

My home is in Ravenswood, near Pinjarra and Mandurah, and you would have the house to yourself for the duration of the stay.

More than anything, I’m looking for someone who will treat Chachi as their own and give him plenty of company, reassurance and affection while I’m away.
